Whatever the outcome of the new birth revolution in the East. The awareness
that comes along will for ever changing the dynamic of the region, its
people, and leaders.
How has the experts of the region mist this in their assessments? Have
they not foreshadow this level of uprising among the masses against a
regime of the likes of what we have seem.
Rencently I received in my inbox from Crosswalk.Com under religion
today: a piece written by Kristin Butler. " Egypt emerging: Path to
freedom, could hurt Christains:" She asserts that by saying " Its
possible that some of those fighting for freedom in the streets of Cairo
today may wield an iron hand of oppression tomorrow". It is possible,
and the fears can be validate. This given the sensitivities of the region with
all the religious and political compponents there. That would again be a
very sad day to put it mildly for those who desire the path of democracy,
peace, and not constand bloody war.
As can be seem the legitimate economic and social aspirations of the
Egyptain masses collided with their leader. They want inclusion not
exclusion. Freedom and liberty cries from their hearts, not subservient
but of something greater than what is before them now.
Unfortunately, Mr Murabark and his government as a different set of
value system from the people they governing and now the collision
course.
When an individual, groups or people come to a point of enough, that
which they for will paid a prize. Hope long shadows as come closer home.
Its dimension is shorten and they will not turn back neither will be denial.
I notice in the relentlessness of their effort to obtain that which is it they
desire. The imagery and level of violence, there is this amount of
sel-control.Giving the turmultuousness of the situation it could have been
worsen already. For we know that the human mind is capable of
committing great acts of ruthlessness that defile human descriptions.
At this moment make no mistake, it this unsetting outlook that will cause
neighbor not to sleep peacefully, but I hope in the end for the good
of the people, and our world they would. On an the other hand I am
in no elution of the whole situations.
This then is my prayer, " In the darkest of the midnight have I often
hid my face white the storm howler above me and there's no hiding
place mid the crash of the thunder precious Lord hear my cry, keep
me safe till the storm passes by. Till the storm passes over till the
thunder sounds no more till the cloud rolls forever from the sky. Hold
me fast let me stand in the hollow of your hand keep me safe till the
storm passes by'.
Thats my take for the day, Clash of values in the East.
