are not, then thank God. May I suggest you help someone by
senting this to a friend, a lover, a neighbor. To someone you
know is down on out. This is not the piety party thing we are
doing, it about serious discouragement that is facing an
individual today. It is said, " No battle ever won by discourage
solders, no scarifies make by discourage people, no marathon
ever run by runner who do not anticipated ". You can just right
now light a candle of hope by passing this on.
I remember the story how Jesus still the storm, then spoke to
the disciple about there lack of faith. This was one of those
moments for them when fear as taken over their lives, render
them helpless and so discouragement set in.
We can focus on the storms in our lives ,and around us so long,
then overwhelm ,and confused by it. They were so overwhelm
an confused it ultimately got them discourage. There storm at
the time were so itemized, the desperate situation out weight any
chances of them dealing with it. So terrified they were, it causes
them to departed from their responsible of effectively dealing with
it.They were hijacked ,and lost by their inabilities to acted in any
manner for a peaceful resolution.
Is your storms covering you over allowing you to losing faith and
this point you are saying no! well you can, and will overcome this.
Take courage and rise through your storms. Courage lost, is like
going to war with guns without bullets. Courage lost ,is a lion at the
mercy of a molehill of ants.Courage lost, is a dry river bed without
water on a hot summer day. Courage lost ,is like a grave yard, just
the dead. Courage lost, is like a wondering child through a crowed
mall crying for his or her parent.Courage lost,on one does not know
the different between freedom and bandage.Courage lost, is like
a drunkard straggling along. Arriving at destination intended,
passes ,then hit by an incoming car, die instantaneous ,because the
intoxication brings to a point of no return. Courage lost ,and if not
check, soon one will become a patient of the psychiatric ward.
I knew courage under fire can either make or break you down to
the ground. I knew without the shadow of a doubt it does breathe
new live into your very being. Strength one cans never imaging,
moreover to live without.
I can give testimonials of years of my live where it takes courage
to combating deceives, defections, disloyal ties, the so-called
spiritualist who if by any mean were spiritual. Prophets so-called,
the unruly, the unkind, the glory seeker, the controlling and then
those who think they are more special than other. Have I not
seem it all in church live. You will ask is the church that bad ? O
no ! God's glorious presence and those brave humble one who
allowed Christ to have his way in their lives out shines the forces
of evil. Am not here just writing about it, I have experienced it,
the triumph-full ride a mists times of defects.
Discouragements is the killing giant of church live. This elective
course is not one that any one should sit in on. The true is, it
is hard not to in its classes, but one do not have to sit in on,
take notes nor the exams.
Here are just a few classes. Forget about weather they should
happen or shouldn't. The die is cast ,and now you have to deal
with live hard realities.1- Divorce, 2- loneliness, 3-death of love
once, 4- lost of a job, 5- broken relationships, 6- poor health,
7- son is jail, and the constant family fuel that left us sometimes
really wounded in spirit, bady and soul.
My own story is telling. When my brother was kill many year
ago, what was more perplexing it was done by the younger
one in an unfortunate manner. Now one is dead, prison await
the other, and my poor mother was left in mourning. As for me,
I am in a foreign country on illegal immigrant, stateless almost.
Courage must now take its place for I'll have to win over
madness and the disintegration of all things civil. Here is
my valley of Becka, and I had to make it a well spring of life.
You know I always belief in what I called the God and human
ourselves, and 2- He will only blesses that which we places into
his hand with a pure hearts asking his purposes desiring that it factors. 1- God will not do for us what we ought to do for
workout for our good and his glory.
Here are four things I want us to share.1- Intentions:
Intentions is a way out of our discouragement, it as a passage
way,it carries the messages of hope. Conceives in the spirit
where by giving us hope of strength and renewal.
2- Attitude of gratitude: This is an indispensable true that
is so central to defeat the Trojan horses of discouragement.
Attitude with gratitude brings altitude and 's up to you. The
first move is simple our.
3- Actions: Go for it if it cannot be done by yourself alone,
get the help that is needed. It is again up to your intentions
with a plus sign.
4- Sharing: This is one life's great treasure, sharing. This
is part of who we are.What can you share, what we'll you
share, how w'll I share ? In our sharing we connects with
a life flow. You share out of your willingness to share. The
need to share and in so doing, our joy is fulfilled.
I will close with this by your truly ( my brother was kill in 1986
and out of that came this poem in his memory ).
The death of a brother.
It never left my mind, let go they say, but how
can I ? It is not like am dead, even when
meaning sought none found. For it was the other
brother that did the deed and I lost both at that.
Let me wail awhile finding memories of the star
light. Blood with blood as often we felled to the
ground, specially on rainy days.My mother son
he was my brother.
Oh yes ! dark night of the soul and courage allows me to put a foot up
take what necessary actions their were to get through the web of
complexity at the time. Take about a shameful episode in once live,
and I choose to live, and that's my take on courage under fire.
